Reconstruction works are within existing alignments (right of way). SPRIP will strictly follow the ADB Safeguard Policy Statement 2009 (SPS), and other applicable ADB operations manuals. These frameworks describe the procedures and principles for compliance. The Works & Services Department with the help of consultants are responsible for the compliance of these frameworks, the SPS, and the loan and project agreements.
Initial Environmental Examination for these roads have been completed and uploaded in Studies / Reports section.
